Meet Laura Drummond ASDH
Laura Drummond didn’t plan a career in dental hygiene. While working part-time in a practice while at university, she realised that’s what she wanted to do and switched her degree. When talking to her, her love of teeth and dentistry is obvious, but she’s far more interested in the person attached to those teeth.
Her personal focus is on teeth whitening, in particular the more complex cases. She’s very experienced and knowledgeable about teeth whitening, and has a long list of very satisfied patients whose smiles have been brightened under her care. Laura loves her job, and building relationships with her patients is one of the most fulfilling aspects of her job.
Education and Continuing Studies
Laura attended Curtin University, earning her Associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 2003, and has been with Mount Pleasant Dental Centre ever since. She takes as many professional development and continuing education courses as possible. Laura also writes and presents professional development courses.

When she’s not working, Laura enjoys being a mummy, and stays busy constantly making snacks for her three children.
