Meet Courtney Whitford-Smith BHSc, ASDH
Courtney Whitford-Smith always had an interest in health sciences, starting her career as a dental nurse after high school. Her passion to learn more led her to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. After developing a love for children’s dentistry, she furthered her studies with a degree in dental therapy.
With over 20 years in the dental industry, Courtney has been able to set healthy oral hygiene habits early in her patients’ lives and form close relationships with them over the years.
A Dental Education
Courtney attended Curtin University, earning an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene in 1999, and later returning to complete her Bachelor of Health Science degree in 2016. She has been with Mount Pleasant Dental Centre since 1999.

Outside the Practice
Courtney loves spending time with her two beautiful boys, who are very active in sports. They love camping, mountain biking, and spending quality time together. Courtney also loves wine and chocolate!
